The phoenix The End of Times: Rules

Real vs. game: This game is based on a real group but thats it. The real names of these people won't be disclosed unless they wish to on the message board. The game starts from scratch so you'll have to figure out how to run your groups (yes groups some well be non-players created by me and admins but for the most part you'll create your own as well) and it's not as easy as it sounds to run a magick group. Or you could try to be a loner.

Groups vs. solitary: It's not required to start or be in a group. However there are benifits to belonging to a group. Other group members in the area will be able to jump in and help you if someone ambushs you or assualts you(attacking is explained later). If you do a quest you can ask them for help(quests will be explained later). You can train with them(training will be explained later). Groups can also strike up treaties with other groups. However if your solitary you have to do much by yourself. This could be benificial but it could also mean more time healing, it's a gamble, but that can make it fun. If your solitary you can also strike up aliances with what ever side(or group) seems benifcial to your goals. This also gives you the ablity to break aliances at your own risk.

Attacking other players: You can attack anyone you wish, weather or not they are stronger than you, however attacking people who are stronger than you will of course mean more time healing so chose your opponents carefully. There are three ways that you can attack people.
duals: This is a good way to train with other people but you need the coperation of the other person, you can't have a dual with only one person knowing about it. It is also the most benificial in terms of gaining power for both people.
ambush: This is were you attack the person with out them knowing about it, surprised? Single people can ambush single people or, if they are really brave , or powerful, whole groups. Groups can ambush groups or, if they are very cowerdly a single person. This is benificial to the attackers more then the person or people being attacked in terms of gaining power.
Assualts: This is were many gang up on one person (could be a group or a coalition of people). You'll need to get the okay from everyone who is attacking. This is the least benificial to both the attackers ant the victims in terms of gaining power.

Quests: There are two kinds of quests, just regular ones that can be done by either one person or groups. And world or mega-quests which is a quest that will happen on a set time and you have to sign up for, you can sign up for either the good side or bad side. Both will be posted on the quest page.

Training: there are several types of training that you can do to gain power.
Physical training- fairly obvious, this is the train that boosts your physical power, this go up a certain percentage from your curent power. you can do this through sparring people in your own group, or just physically training yourself with your surroundings, use your imagination. you get 3 sparing days and 10 regular training days. your days are renued at the end of the month.
spiritual training- once again fairly obvious this rises you spiritual power by a certain percent the only way you can really do this is by using your energy during a fight or meditateing, you get 10 meditation day, they are renued at the end of the month.

aliances and treaties: If you are the leader of a group you can enter treaties with other groups on the same side (good or evil) this adds extra protection or power if attacked by or attacking another group. If you are solitary you can enter aliances with whatever side suits your goals or you can remain a free fighter hitting however you please, but haveing an aliance could help reduce the number of enimies you could have. Other then that aliances don't really help or hurt you.

learning magick and weapon moves: You can learn different kinds of magick and move for the weapon that you choose when you create your character. You learn them from particular trainers that are in that feild of magick or weapon. There is light magick and dark magick, the only dark magick that can be learn by people on the good side is necromancy, since it's more gray than anything. The weapons trainers are neutral so you can train from them no matter what side your on. It takes a certain amount of days to learn a certain magick "spell" or weapons move. (more info on the trainers page).

Getting around: It also takes a certain amount of days to get from place to place in the world(more well be explained on the map page- which is constently subject to change)

actions: It takes a full day to do an action, or multiple days were ever that applies like learning moves and traveling or certain quests. You can send actions either on the message board or through my e-mail (ashikaro@aol.com)

Creating your character: There are several things that I need for you to join:
character name
side (good or evil)
age
physical description(defineing scars, clothe etc.)
hair color
eye color
build(fat, thin, athletic, or you can make your own) does'nt matter just help in pictureing him/her
your chosen weapon
gender(male or female)
and your character history.
you must also include what side you are currently allied with (different from your "alignment") your side shows who you can learn from your alliances show who your working with(only applies to solitaries.)

and that's all, have fun and play fair.

Note:There is death in this game but when your character dies you don't need to make a new one, your character is reformed in another location(on the map page) and has to heal for a significant time.
